Button Rock Preserve is just a short drive outside of Longmont. Located in a quiet river valley, you’ll also find the Longmont and Ralph Price Reservoirs which provide storage for our water supply. Button Rock Preserve is walk-in only, which helps preserve some of the natural beauty. Enjoy walking along the trails and catching a glimpse of wildlife. Anglers will also enjoy the access to many back-country fishing spots where fly fishing for brown trout is a popular activity.
Garden Acres Community Park opened in 1989 and at that time was only the third community park in Longmont. It’s the place to take the sports lovers in your family for a friendly game of softball or soccer. With batting cages, ball fields, cricket pitches and more, it’s the perfect location to get in touch with your competitive side. Garden Acres also features multiple playgrounds and some are even handicap accessible making it the perfect place for everyone to enjoy.
