Halloween is this weekend, which means if you don't have Halloween plans, it's time to make them! Longmont, CO has a lot to offer, and Halloween isn’t the exception. There are activities for all age groups to enjoy. Here are some options for you, or you and your family to consider!
Witches Brew Night, hosted at Left Hand Brewing on October 25th, is their latest edition of Ales4FemAles. Get it? We think it’s pretty clever too. Here’s how it works. You and your team (in pointed hats, obviously), will compete against other teams to create the best brew. You’ll be given tinctures to add to Left Hand Brewing’s wide variety of beers. After some tastings, the winning team will be chosen and given prizes. Don't worry if you don’t have the best potion, you can still win a prize if you have the best witches costume! Who doesn’t love a free parade? Put on your best contest and head down to Main Street for Longmont’s annual Halloween parade. The lineup starts at Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Avenue, at 9:30 am. The parade starts at 10 am. Immediately following the parade, head downtown to visit the participating merchants for Trick or Treat Street. This event is completely free with no registration required. For more information, click here.
